Encyclia alatum x Encyclia tampensis This hybrid of the miniature Encycl. tampensis and the much larger Encycl. alata results in a compact orchid with some of the best features of both parents. The flowers look much the same as the Encycl. alata but the plant is half the height of this large Encyclia. They are easier to grow and grow very fast for an Encyclia.

Nice long lasting flowers - at least 3 weeks.
Repotted summer 2015. A division was blown in June 2016 so I took it to a meeting and put it on the raffle table. Traded for a Bulbo from Bill Thoms.
