Leaveslanceolate-ligulate, acute to acuminate, narrowly acute at base,6-16 cm long, 1-2.5 cm wide, thick; blade, secon_dary stem,and pedicels often violet-purple. Flowers few, in terminal racemesabout half as long as leaves, yellow_-green, all parts lightly or heavily marked with violet-_purple especially near base; sepals narrowly pointed, 5.5-9 mm long, with a thick medial rib,persisting in fruit; petals oblong-oblanceolate, much shorter and e_closed within sepals, exceeding length of column; lipthick, oblong, 2.5-3.5 mm long, with 2 short erect teeth laterally below the middle.
